Brush-Pad Plungers
The Brush-Pad plunger brush is designed to operate in wells with
sand and solids suspended in the liquids.
The pad section has the ability to ‘collapse’ its outside diameter so that the plunger can pass through tight spots within the tubing. In addition, the plunger can be used without the need to broach the tubing.
The brush section does not deteriorate from the mandrel during
flow due to the dual restraint system applied to the
brush fiber.
The brush also “flexes,” preventing solids
from accumulating in the body and allowing the plunger
to work well in tubing with irregular or tight spots.
The brush-pad plunger is available in 1.910", 1.935” or 1.950” OD, creating a better seal within the tubing for the
optimal removal of liquids. In addition, special bristles
on the brush are also available for problem situations.
