MAX III Series Pressure Controllers
The Max III is a full service differential pressure
plunger lift controller with true tubing liquid level
operation and exact duplication of procedures needed
to keep a well performing. It is designed to prevent
lost production due to excessive liquid loading.
The unit includes three pressure transducers that monitor
the casing, tubing, and the flow line or gathering system
pressure. The data obtained is used to adjust theplunger
lift well to perform optimally under its existing conditions
(i.e. The Max III adjusts to changing well conditions).
Liquid loading of the tubing and the well is a thing
of the past. There is no lost production due to excessive
liquid loading.
How Max III works …
- The Max III opens the motor valve when
the preset casing pressure is recorded by the controller.
- The controller uses the difference
between the casing and the tubing or tubing and line
to determine the liquid level in the tubing.
- The well will flow until the required
difference set by the operator is recognized by the
Max III and then close the motor valve.
- The Max III is a fully automated, self-adjusting
wellhead controller.
- The Max III can literally flow the
well for seconds, minutes, or hours after the plunger
arrives, based on the monitoring of the liquid level.
- If the level of liquid in the tubing
is not at the designated column height, the well continues
to flow.
- No special programming or data entry
is necessary to begin successful operation.
