The Right Plunger …
Today’s plunger lift system
is the most economical way to extract gas and oil from
established wells.
The plunger serves as an “interface” between
the liquids in the tubing and the inflow of gas or oil
from the well. The water flows through the plunger.
When gas or oil pressure is sufficient to close the
valve, the plunger is lifted to the surface where the
liquid is drained off and the gas or oil collected into
the flow line.
Multi is an early pioneer and continuous innovator in
plunger lift system design. We have developed plungers
for special applications to meet the demands of the
most difficult well conditions.
Choosing the right plunger lift for your well requires
that you know well conditions during production. Use
the chart below as a guide to plunger selection.
