Quick Travel (QT) Plungers

Quick Travel plungers are designed to allow the fast fallback of the plunger to the bottom of the tubing to begin the next plunger lift cycle. The QT plunger is ideal for wells that have a quick recovery of the lift pressure and/or produce large liquid volumes.

This plunger was developed for fast fall back in high volume liquid wells and can produce up to 250 barrels per day under the right conditions.

Used for 15 years in this type of production without EVER falling apart or leaving pieces of a damaged plunger in the tubing. The QT is extremely durable and this saves costly fishing jobs required for inferior bypass plungers.

The QT plunger has an internal bypass valve that permits gas and liquid to pass through its center body and out its top, improving the displacement time of the liquids.

The QT plunger falls in approximately half the time as a conventional plunger (due to the internal bypass valve being open on the fall, but closed on the travel to the surface). In addition, the plunger has a permanently sealed valve and shift rod, making the plunger more durable than others.

The QT plunger can also be installed with a current Multi Lubricator and is proven successful in wells that have produced up to 250 of barrels per day. The fast fallback feature significantly increases the number of cycles that the plunger lift system can make per day.
